Wheel alignment (also referred to as wheel tracking) is an essential part of vehicle maintenance. Just driving over a pot-hole, or knocking against the kerb can be enough to set your wheels out of alignment.

You may not even be aware that your wheels are misaligned so here are some common signs to look out for:

• The steering wheel vibrates
• Uneven tyre wear
• A squealing sound when driving at a low speed
• The car feels like it’s pulling to one side
